Honoi is the capital of Vietnam. There are two particular areas of note which are the chaotic old quarter  and the French quarter.
The chaotic streets of the first quarter is known for its 36 streets each one dedicated to a different trade. Theres Porcelain Street, Haberdashery Street and so on.
The french quarter is located on the south east side of the lake and here you will find many of the government buildings within Hanoi as well as quaint little cafes.
